Taxes & spending Leans agree· stated position

Statement: "Cutting taxes should be a top priority, even if it means less government spending on services."

Le proposed a 'Small Business Tax Credit Act' as one of his three key campaign messages, offering tax incentives to small businesses that hire locally and train young people. He did not say in the survey what spending would change.

"This act will offer real tax incentives to small businesses that hire locally, train young people, and help rebuild the local economy."

Property taxes Strongly agrees· stated position

Statement: "Florida should eliminate or sharply reduce homestead property taxes, even if local governments must cut services or find other revenue."

In an interview for the voter guide, Le said a family's first or only home should not be taxed, while rental and investment property should be.

"For me, across Florida, if you have only one property, I don’t want to tax on that property."

Housing affordability Leans agree· stated position

Statement: "Government should do more to make housing affordable (subsidies, zoning changes, rent measures)."

In his 2025 Ballotpedia Candidate Connection survey, Le proposed a 'Zoning Equity Act' that would let owners of property more than 50 years old obtain rezoning within the same use category so they could build on the property, add accessory units, rent it out or sell unused portions. He said the change would lower rents and help property owners. In an earlier 2022 survey he listed affordable housing among his priorities.

"This will help residential low the rent cost and homeowner put money in their pockets."

Immigration Leans agree· stated position

Statement: "Immigration enforcement should be stricter, including large-scale deportation of people in the country illegally."

In his 2022 Ballotpedia survey, filed as a candidate for Congress, Le listed stopping illegal immigration at the border among his three key messages and said his own family immigrated legally from Vietnam. He did not address deportation of people already in the country.

"We must stop illegal immigration that endlessly drains our resources."

Abortion Strongly disagrees· stated position

Statement: "Abortion should be legal in most cases (Florida's six-week ban should be repealed or loosened)."

Le said abortion should be allowed only for medical reasons; on VOTE411 he described himself as pro-life with exceptions for serious threats to the mother's life or health.

"I am pro-life, a father and believe human life deserves protection."

Guns Leans disagree· stated position

Statement: "Gun laws should be stricter (keep the red-flag law and the age-21 purchase rule; expand background checks) rather than looser (permitless or open carry, lower purchase age)."

Le said he supports the Second Amendment and likes gun law the way it is, placing responsibility on parents to keep guns away from children.

"I love it the way it is because nobody protects you better than yourself."

Health care Leans disagree· stated position

Statement: "Government should expand its role in health coverage (expand Medicaid in Florida, extend Affordable Care Act subsidies)."

Asked about expanding Medicaid, Le focused on fraud and said the system must be cleaned up first; he did not endorse expansion.

"So the most important [issue] is we have to clean the house."

Education & school choice Leans disagree· stated position

Statement: "Public money should follow students to private, charter or home schools (universal school vouchers)."

Le said he personally supports school choice but that public money should stay in public schools and private schools should raise their own funds from donors.

"So the money have to stay in the public school."
