Mike Beltran, an attorney from Lithia, served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2018 to 2024, representing a southeastern Hillsborough County district. He entered the CD 14 race in May 2026 after redistricting and won the eight-candidate Aug. 18, 2026 Republican primary with 45.6%, defeating former colleague Kevin Steele (30.2%). He calls himself 'MAGA Mike' and says he has supported Donald Trump since 2015.
