Jared Moskowitz
Jared Moskowitz has served in Congress since 2023 representing the 23rd District and previously was Florida's emergency management director and a state representative, where he worked on the 2018 school-safety law passed after the Parkland shooting. After the 2026 redistricting he ran in the new 25th and won the Aug. 18, 2026 Democratic primary over Oliver Larkin, a challenger backed by Democratic Socialists. He joined and later co-chaired the House DOGE caucus, which he declared 'dead' in May 2025. Note: he is a sitting member of Congress but the new CD 25 is an open seat.
