Taxes & spending Strongly disagrees· stated position

Statement: "Cutting taxes should be a top priority, even if it means less government spending on services."

Fabrikant argues that tax policy built on trickle-down economics has transferred wealth upward for 50 years and shrinks the economy, and says the way to grow it is to put money in consumers' hands rather than cutting taxes at the top.

"The only way for the economy to improve is by giving the consumers the funds."

Statement: "Government should do more to make housing affordable (subsidies, zoning changes, rent measures)."

Fabrikant proposes federally supported shelters that give homeless people an address, safety and job retraining so they can return to the workforce.

"Shelters that get people back into society, by giving them an address, training and safety"

Guns Strongly agrees· stated position

Statement: "Gun laws should be stricter (keep the red-flag law and the age-21 purchase rule; expand background checks) rather than looser (permitless or open carry, lower purchase age)."

Fabrikant's first proposed law is a tax on ammunition, together with designating certain weapons as military arms not available to civilians.

"A tax on ammunition/designation of certain weapons as military (not for civilians)."

Tariffs & trade Strongly disagrees· stated position

Statement: "Tariffs on imported goods are good for the American economy."

Fabrikant says the Trump administration's tariffs are part of an effort that economically isolates the United States from the rest of the world.

"The Trump Administration has attempted to isolate the United States. This has been done economically through the tariffs"

Trump administration Strongly disagrees· stated position

Statement: "I approve of the direction of the Trump administration."

Fabrikant says the current administration has abandoned government's duty to protect people, has acted to transfer wealth and control upward, and should be held responsible; his campaign's stated plan is to undo its policies.
