Amanda Marie Green
Amanda Marie Green is a two-time Florida State University graduate who, according to her campaign, worked for a subsidiary of the U.S. Agency for International Development until the agency was cut after President Trump returned to office in 2025. She won the Aug. 18, 2026 Democratic primary in the open 2nd District over Yen Bailey, Nicholas Zateslo and Brice Barnes (percentages not found in searches) and faces Republican Austin Rogers in November. Her campaign reported passing $500,000 in fundraising in September 2026 and has emphasized the cost of gas, groceries, housing and insurance in North Florida.
